Our online Essentials programmes are designed for individuals who are looking for the advice and tools to self-complete their career course.   Using the Appleby Virtual toolkit you will take yourself through the course that suits you and analyse your own results, giving you the flexibility of pace and intensity.

 

career focus – £95

This programme will help you clarify what you need from your career and what options are open to you based on your qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and aspirations.

 What makes a role attractive to you? – You will complete a series of exercises which will help you identify what you need and want from your career.

Creating a win:win proposition – Then you will complete a transferable skills analysis to identify those skills that you particularly enjoy using, and will want to use in your next move.

Building on the assessment work you will then explore different options so that you can identify the most appealing and viable ones.  Your consultant will then review these with you to help you decide your next course of action for each.

Career Focus Programme includes:

You will complete a set of assessments that will give you answers to the following questions.

  • What type of person am I? (Is it the same as who I think I am?)
  • What are my needs and wants?
  • What sort of employment will suit me best?
  • What are the types of positions that should be in my sights?
  • Which industries offer these positions?
  • Which of these industries will be best for me?
  • What will be the barriers to achievement?
  • What can be done to overcome those barriers?
  • Which industry will be most likely to meet my remuneration expectations, without compromising my boundaries?

In addition to your programme:

  • You will have your own secure access to the Appleby Virtual online system.
  • You will have access to online articles and advice.
  • At the end of the programme you will have a 1:1 review with a consultant to discuss your outcomes and advise you how to use what you have learnt.
  • The access to your portal lasts three months, allowing you to review the exercises you have completed. (Extension available on request).
  • You will have access to technical support from our helpdesk whenever needed.
