The Four Stage Career Search & Development Programme will enable you to identify a clear career objective and then equip you with the necessary marketing materials, interviewing techniques and campaign tools to subsequently achieve your career objective.
You will be supported throughout by a professional career consultant who will have sufficient time and flexibility to tailor each stage to your individual needs, situation and time-scales.
The third stage will provide you with the necessary preparation and the techniques to enable you to successfully manage referral meetings, interviews and salary negotiations.
You and your consultant will discuss the different types of face-to-face meetings that you will have in your campaign including referral meetings, screening interviews, assessment interviews, final interviews and offer meetings.
You will learn how to set up referral meetings and then to effectively manage those meetings. This will ensure you make the most of the referral opportunity to identify problems you can solve, additional capabilities you can bring or identify other people who would be useful to meet.
You will be prepared for a wide range of interview questions including difficult questions, sensitive questions and salary questions.
You will learn effective approaches to salary negotiation that will enable you to secure the best package and simultaneously demonstrate your negotiation skills.

You will increase your levels of personal impact and credibility at referral meetings and interviews through role play and practice.
Through the combination of a deeper understanding of the referral meeting, the interview and salary negotiation and the use of the additional tools and techniques that you will have developed you will be able to increase your personal impact, credibility and fit at face-to-face meetings.
Your consultant will also advise you on personal presentation and highlight the dos and don'ts of referral meeting management and successful interviewing. Your consultant will provide you with opportunities to role play and practice. In short, you will learn by doing.
NB As part of the Campaign stage, your consultant will provide you with advice on interviews that you will be participating in.

Stage Three typically requires four to five face-to-face sessions plus telephone and email support as necessary. However, if more sessions are needed they will be provided at no additional cost. Sessions are normally of 1½ hours duration.
