Selecting
an outplacement provider |

Outplacement is often provided by organisations to individuals as part of a redundancy package following a restructure due to changing operational needs, market forces or acquisition. Outplacement can also be included as part of a compromise agreement or a negotiated settlement. The outplacement service is provided by a third party and the organisation pays the outplacement fee.
Some organisations will provide you with a budget for outplacement leaving you free to choose which provider to use and your selected outplacement provider will invoice the sponsoring organisation.
